Grow Partnership Tennessee (GPT) is a tax-exempt Community-Based Organization (CBO) under IRS section 501(c)(3) dedicated to advancing health equity and expanding opportunity for underserved Appalachian communities. We build strong partnerships across East Tennessee and throughout the state to address racism as a public health crisis and its impact on access to care, behavioral health, and community well-being.

Through culturally competent, peer-led training programs, GPT strengthens the local public health workforce by empowering residents to serve as trusted Community Health Workers (CHWs). Our community-driven model connects grassroots efforts to broader systems, addressing the social and behavioral determinants of health while promoting mental wellness, resilience, and long-term systemic change. In alignment with the mission of the Administration for a Healthy America (AHA), GPT works to remove barriers and ensure every community has equitable access to comprehensive care that supports healing, violence prevention, and lasting community health.
